Biscoe Police Sergeant Fundraises with Tiktok for K2 Canine
The Biscoe Police Department in Montgomery County, North Carolina welcomed two new K2 canines to their force! After being challenged by their Chief, Police Sergeant DJ Capel started a TikTok fundraiser, generating enough money to purchase K9 Hondo. K2, impressed by their efforts, made it possible for Biscoe PD to bring home K9 Qito as well.
“Chief Armstrong had the honor to present to the town our two newest members of the team. K-9 Qito (Lt Cloninger) and K-9 Hondo (Sgt Capel). It was even more of an honor to address the town council and confirm that no tax dollars have or will be used to sustain the program as we have received through private donors, enough funds to maintain both K-9's. Also present was the president of K2 Solutions, Mr. Lane Kjellsen who made it possible for us to introduce two canines instead of the initial goal of one.
